表達第一樓美國人和英國人的說法不一樣的：
美國人第一樓是說The first floor 第二樓是說 The second floor
But,英國人說第一樓是 the ground floor ，第二樓是The first floor
為什么英國人說第一樓是說The ground floor ：原因是英國人認為第一樓要跟地面平齊，這里ground 英 [grand] 地面，所以The ground floor 表示第一樓，以此類推。
(備注這是英語文化差異，如果去英國旅行這個一定要搞清楚，否則去第一樓你會在第二樓下，還要走一次樓梯才能到地面）
舉個例子：
我的房間在二樓
美國人這樣表達：My room is on the second floor
英國人這樣表達：My room is on the first floor
跟英國人聊天聽到My room is on the first floor 千萬不要理解為我房間在第一層，免得陷入尷尬局面
